Christine from our Portrait Group



I finished this painting Saturday. Her hair was so much fun to paint- it just went all over. Christine was a great model who sat very still and meditated the entire time she posed.

Repainted Jesus -- I think I am finally satisfied



This painting has gone through a couple revisions. I totally repainted his face and actually the whole painting. Hopefully it will sell or I'll end up gifting it to my pastor in September when we celebrate "Pastor Appreciation Month".

Gethsetame continued


He appeared to be in too much pain in the first version. I wanted him to appear thoughtful and prayerful with just a hint of trepidation. I am almost there (I think). Here I have shown the painting detail in black and white to check the values- they look good.

Zuni Girl Finished



I will probably wait until Thursday to list this one. She is a great contrast to the warm tones of the Blackfoot boy I painted last week. I want to do a series of ten Native American children, all from different tribes, all 11" x 14" in size. Each painting will have a different background but I want all of them to be outside.
