Morgan
I worked on this for five hours last week. I think I need to add some sort of clothing to the bottom for a "stopper" but I haven't decided what kind. Too busy working on getting the face perfect.
Listed a Painting of this Horse Last Night for a 10 Day Auction
I have three hours in this painting and it turned out just beautiful I thought, so I listed it for $49 last night. So far I don't have any bids but I am not going to drop the price on this one because I love it too much to giv eit away. i'll save it and enter it in some shows if it doesn't sell the first time.
Animal Paintings
This is the poster for the Parents Supporting Schools group. The kid on the right looks a bit like my son...not intentionally. Maybe just because I've drawn and painted him so often.
We just got back from a basketball game tonight and unfortunately Wauseon lost 57-56. The game was within 2 or 3 points all night and actually was decided in the last few seconds so it was a really good game. Just disappointing for the kids who played their hearts out.
More paintings ...
Well it's been a busy couple weeks and I haven't had a lot of time to post what I'm working on. I re-worked no. 10 of the Colorful Nude series and it sold right away to the same buyer who won the bid on "Angelina". I emailed a photo of it to him and he wanted it. Apparently he owns a gallery in Martinsburg, WV. I listed another cardinal and relisted the other nude and they both have bids on them now. While I was working on these paintings I began to develop a theme for a painting I am donating to the Parents Supporting Schools auction. I tried to come up with something I thought the bidders would be interested in-- and because it's basketball season and Wauseon is a big supporter od school sports I decided on an Indian Basketball theme. This painting took quite a few hours of work. I hope they get a good price for it.
